A good window is not chosen by looks alone. It must match climate, orientation, noise level and daily use.
Large openings need stable profiles and safety glass.
Choose the material according to your priorities
Wood brings warmth and insulation. Aluminium allows slim profiles and large sizes. PVC offers efficiency and easy maintenance.
Wood
Natural, warm and highly insulating.
Aluminium
Durable, modern and large-format.
PVC
Efficient, practical and competitive.
Glass determines much of the comfort
For most homes we recommend low-e double glazing with argon. In cold or noisy areas, triple glazing or laminated acoustic glass may be better.
Always ask for the Uw value of the complete window, not only the glass.
Think about opening type and available space
Casement
Maximum airtightness and full opening.
Tilt-and-turn
Safe ventilation without opening the full sash.
Sliding
Saves space and works well in large openings.
Installation is as important as the product
The junction between window and wall must be insulated, sealed and protected. Poor installation can cause leaks, damp and lost performance.
Before asking for advice, prepare:
- Approximate measurements
- Interior and exterior photos
- Number and type of windows
- Location and floor
